As a collector and lover of antique and vintage items, I made the decision to turn my passion in to a business: Anchor Antiques.

 

I deal in a broad selection of antique and vintage items. I am focused on procuring quality items and offering them at competitive prices.

Anchor Antiques is dedicated to honesty and transparency when it comes to our listings. As a collector and customer myself, I like to see as much information about an item as possible, so that I can make an informed decision about a purchase: provenance, condition and a full description, including country of origin, age and materials are important in order to be able to do this. Due to the nature of some items, it is not always possible to provide all of this information, but I am always researching and doing detective work to find missing details.

Anchor Antiques sells a number of delicate and fragile items, you can rest assured that the correct measures will be taken in order to ensure that your items arrive in their described condition. Each item is assessed for the appropriate packaging materials to ensure it's safe arrival.

 

In general, the item will be wrapped in one or more layers of acid free tissue paper, followed by at least two layers of high quality bubble wrap, boxes are carefully chosen to ensure adequate protection and are padded out with other cushioning materials.

Anchor Antiques has shipped hundreds of items and breakage is rare. Should an Item break, you can provide proof and a claim will be filed and a refund issued.
